What is your role at the company, and what are your key responsibilities?
I am the Service Coordinator, responsible for managing client requests, organizing technician workloads, and handling procurement for hardware. My role involves supporting the technical team through effective communication and task management.
How long have you worked in your current position, and what led you to this role?
I’ve been in this position for over 2 years, drawn to it by the opportunity to coordinate workflows and witness the completion of tasks.
Can you describe a typical day in your job?
My day revolves around calls, emails, and client and technician interactions. Coordinating tasks, managing ticket queues, and ensuring work completion are integral parts of my routine.
What do you enjoy most about your work at Kerkhoff Technologies?
I find satisfaction in coordinating workflows, witnessing task completion, and seeing items crossed off the to-do list.
How do you collaborate with other team members to achieve your goals?
Regular communication through Teams, collaborative issue-solving, and various meetings help us focus on our goals and company developments.
What is your number 1 tech tip for our audience?
Track your tasks! Whether using Microsoft To-Do, TopLeft, or a physical notebook, visually listing tasks for the day is incredibly helpful.
What is your favorite way to unwind after a long day at work?
I unwind by putting on an audiobook or TV show and engaging in a relaxing activity like doing a jigsaw puzzle.
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of work that you are passionate about?
I’ve recently developed a passion for making greeting cards, experimenting with different designs, and enjoying the creative process.
Have you enjoyed any books, movies, or TV shows lately?
I enjoy mystery and true events-based content. Currently reading “The Radium Girls” by Kate Moore and recommend thrillers like “The Guest List” or “The Hunting Party” by Lucy Foley.
What is your favorite type of cuisine or restaurant, and what dish can you never resist ordering?
I love all kinds of soup! The variety in soups is endless, and it’s a dish I frequently make at home.
Can you share a fun or interesting fact about yourself that most company employees do not know?
Most people might not know that I broke my leg at the age of 10, leading to an operation on my other leg to stunt its growth.
What is your go-to music playlist or artist for getting pumped up before a busy day?
I have a playlist of early 2000s songs from my brothers, featuring Nickelback, Fall Out Boy, Hinder, Simple Plan, and All Time Low.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be, and how would you use it?
Teleportation, no doubt! I’d use it to travel effortlessly and explore new countries every night.
